Tibia Clausa 8' WITH TREMULANT

Click the play button (right facing arrow) to listen.

Note the radical change in sound with the tremulant. Also note how the Tibia Clausa 8' without tremulant still "tremulates" on its own from time to time. This is a function of the chest being far from the reservoir and probably the reason the tremulant is so successful when it is engaged.

Jay Mitchell, organ builder and former theatre organist of the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, remarked that a successful Tibia is one that is almost robbed of air, which is definately the case of the opus 195 Tibia!
